Privacy Policy

Audioplex is a macOS utility that plays the system's audio through multiple output devices in sync. This policy explains what Audioplex does with data. The short version: everything happens locally on your Mac, and Audioplex does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.

What Audioplex accesses

• Microphone. During latency calibration, Audioplex plays a short test tone through your outputs and listens with the microphone to measure how late each device plays. Audio is processed in real time on your Mac and is never recorded to disk or sent anywhere.
• System audio. When Audioplex is active, it captures the system's audio output so it can play it through the outputs you select. This capture happens locally and stays on your Mac.
• Audio devices. Audioplex reads the names and identifiers of your output devices so it can route audio to them and remember your setup between launches.

What Audioplex does not do

• No accounts, sign-in, or user profiles.
• No analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party SDKs.
• No uploads: audio, device lists, and settings never leave your Mac.
• No network access is required for the app to function.

Local data

Audioplex stores only your preferences (which outputs are enabled and their latency settings) in the standard macOS preferences store. You can delete them by removing the app.
